World city
The London Plan, published by the Mayor of London in March 2016, defines a World City as: ‘A globally successful business location paralleled only by two of the world’s other great cities, New York and Tokyo, measured on a wide range of indicators such as financial services, Government, business, higher education, culture and tourism.’
